I’m surprised you can’t open or close windows without the keys in, I thought that was a mandatory safety feature. I often do this when parked in Southampton on the way to watch Saints, just in case you were wondering about my going off topic.
Was out there earlier this year....enjoyed it very much. We normally try and get a couple of weeks out there during the winter months although alas not next year sadly. Enjoy your break.
Yep on my car, I need to have the door ajar to control the windows. To stay on topic I quite often do this when I have parked at the Hub on match day as I wind down the window to pay the guy for parking. Won't be doing it on Saturday though as going by train
Holy Cow! Did we really finish 8th under him, so we've had one poor season, why does it feel like the last 5 years have been crap..?
Until relatively recently (everything is relative, right?), starting a car in winter was always a gamble, which involved spraying all the contacts with WD40, rocking it to get some fuel vapour moving in the tank, hitting starting motors with hammers, rolling down hill and taking your foot off the clutch in 2nd... ...happy days. Sort of.
I remember the days, especially during the cold winter days during the football season (see what I did there). I used to love my Mini (1972 model) that I had 2 size corks that I cut out the centre bit so I could have full choke and half choke Couldn't believe it when I got a VW Polo with automatic choke! To go back on topic, I'll be choked if we lose on Saturday to Leicester.
May moan about some new fangled inventions, but cars starting first time is ace. My first car had a starting handle....look that up, kids. Also had an automatic starter....well more semi-automatic as it depended what mood it was in, but the starter handle saved us a couple of times on icy mornings. COYR
Hughesie strikes me as a Vauxhall Viva sort of guy... Puel would have driven a Citreon, of course, probably a rather conservative model like a DX. Koeman would have driven a souped up Ford Capri.
Press conference. Targett staying; can recall Josh in January if we want*. Harry looking at a loan move. Mo trained today and will be checked tomorrow. Hughes pulled a face when asked about the 'poor start'. He was obviously thinking that it was hardly that after 2 games. Repeated that we need to play for 90 mins as we did in the 2 second halves. Vardy missing could be said to be a bonus, but Leicester have a good squad. *It was felt that Josh hadn't played enough in preseason and needed to catch up by going where he could get game time.
we need the best players for this one But who are the best players? And which position should they play? Do the numbers on the shirt affect the players? I say bring back the numbers 1 - 11. I knew 11 was a left winger and 3 a left back. There is so much for managers to think about
