Firstly...let me say how utterly incompetent we were up front y'day, given the team we had out

Secondly Kenny's obviously got Pool playing well again & it wasn't going to be a walk in the park

Thirdly - Torres was on a hiding to nothing whether he scored or not, - the pressure must've been immense - his time will come

Fourthly - Drog did exactly what he normally does - hoggs the ball & tries to take on things that are getting out of his capability, when he's got class players around him

Lastly - though Luiz was very assured on the ball when he came on

    Oh yes:emoticon-0102-bigsm

    JWP don't agree mate

Firstly playing Torres just made them try harder therefore a bad move.

Secondly playing Mikel with Essien is counter productive and non creative.

Thirdly Malouda should have started as should Kalou which would have given us width

Lastly Drogba was only quiet because he had fcuk all in the way of service and the usually foot perfect Ivan put in a mare.

But we still should have got a point at the very least. <grr>

Fair point re Mikel & Essien - which Carlo did something about - Essien has not been the player he was & needs to put it in where it counts
Mikel may find himself sold in the summer

Ivan did not have a vintage game true enough...although Cech must take some blame for both faults they had - no way he called for that ball when Ivan tried clearing it in first half

    Schoolboy stuff

I reckon Luiz will make a difference going forward - if he's encouraged, Carlo says in the paper he's sticking with the same formation for Fulham

    That remains to be seen
