    Anyone in here into biking?

    Contemplating getting a bike but it's almost 20yrs since I last had one so bit out of date with what's good or not.

    I want disc brakes an push gears but don't want to be spending more than £400


    PS... I'm sure someone posted a link for a website where you can get quality bikes at reduced prices before (not stolen **** on ebay!)

    I have a cheap diamondback I occasionally ride (on trails, not the road). I got mine 75% off from Dicks Sporting goods. That probably won't help you though. I've heard Mansfield is dickless.

    You won't really pick a new quality bike for £400, I would look at the second hand market. Maybe speak to your local bike shop or mates who are
    into biking. I paid about £1000 for my Cannondale more than 10 years ago, and its still a good bike and used daily.
