i have the same problem and it is really annoying when that is the only "remote" way of dealing with them .
I've been on this earth for 60 years and used to vote but with age comes experience and in my experience doesn't really matter who you vote for come general elections, all parties will shaft you it's just the degree of shafting that differs.I refuse to vote for the least worse these days and only vote for local councillors.Other than that I'm a political atheist. No party these days represents me. PS Tories are Cnuts. PPS Been there done it got T shirt with Toxteth riots.
I do vote everytime. Never expect my vote to matter... And I can only think of two major politicians I have ever voted for that actually won. 1) Joe Biden (only voted for him to vote against Trump... I usually vote third party for president... As it was, yes he won... But Trump won by a large margin in South Carolina so my vote didn't count). 2) Lindsay Graham... BEFORE TRUMP... It's funny, before Trump he was a moderate who sided with the Democrats on a lot of issues. A lot o republicans hated him. I know my mother-in-law's husband (faaaar right asshole) used to hate Lindsay but loves him now. I really regret voting for him, even if he was a different man way back then. Other than minor positions like school board and Sheriff no one else I've ever voted for has ever been elected... After many elections... In no small part because I usually don't vote for either major party.
