Wales are rubbish, no mistake about it, they will not win this, they have not turned up at all...........................
Played far too loose at times - Pivac has had a sharp lesson today. At international level, it’s no good just hoping for gaps to emerge or errors to be made. Additionally, we won a Grand Slam last year built on Defence - why dick about with it? Hayward Turkmageddon has just started for Welsh Rugby.....
Poite deserves to be banished to refereeing schoolboy rugby - he allowed Sexton to ref the game, allowed Stander free rein to infringe throughout .... but then pathetically yellow carded him in the last couple of minutes to feel better about himself....
Further evidence today of why I find watching Ireland play in Dublin a really unedifying experience. Sympathetic refereeing decisions, fans and players behaving like their football counterparts in the way they get on the backs of referees and touch judges, obligatory ridiculously one eyed co-commentator, the unpunished illegal tactics at rucks and so on.
Totally agree Taff, Stander was not supporting his own body weight at most of the breakdowns he was involved in. To give him a yellow so close to the end was a joke he should have had one when he was spoken to earlier. Having said that we made too many mistakes in the game
Ireland back to their street wise best and urgency at the breakdown. They totally bossed the first half and strangled Wales out of the game. Wales made too many errors and defensively we've gone backwards. The only bright spot was the off loading in attack, that looks promising but lack of accuracy could be a problem, we can't afford to keep coughing up the ball. The lack of possession was frustrating and kicking game poor. Crap day all round.

I don't think France will be as confident playing away but if Shaun Edwards has the defence firing I think that could make the difference. However, I'm going to say a narrow Wales win. Scotland and England to win. If the results pan out like that then Wales could be top again, dependent on bonus points.
