As if The Spam weren't already shameful enough, their directors have conducted yet another ****show in the transfer window.
Having failed to bring in William Carvalho, they decided to claim that they missed out because their bid was accepted to late to do a medical.
Unfortunately for them, Sporting Lisbon's director has called them on their bullshit on Facebook:
    https://www.facebook.com/pg/DiretordecomunicacaoSportingClubedePortugal/posts/?ref=page_internal

"David Sullivan lies. At sporting clube de Portugal, as has already been said by its president, no proposal has been made by the player William Carvalho.

The football industry is not the set of an adult film in which all obscenities are allowed. So the boss of a club demands a lot more than this intellectual pornography.

Mr David Sullivan has a duty to prove what he says. That is why sporting clube de Portugal challenges him to publicly show the proposals he claims to have been made as well as the evidence that sporting cp received them.

One thing is certain: Sporting CP, has already been said, does not cut legs to its athletes. But we have nothing to do with the performance of entrepreneurs or relatives who live at the expense of players and who are offering them a club at a club price, without a mandate, as if they were cheap supermarket merchandise. Athlete and the club, and creating regrettable situations that have already forced the sporting club of Portugal to take drastic measures to defend these characters who parasitize the lives of some players."

To use the current vernacular: Rekt.

All is chaos for The Spammers...........Super Slaven isn't super...........their seasoned internationals are just old and a bit ****.............their fans are even more miserable than usual but now things might be a bit brighter?

The Dildo Bros. have got the club involved in a European campaign. Okay, it'll be restricted to proving to UEFA that they didn't try to tap up William Carvalho and to the High Court that they aren't run by a pair of dildo's but it's only a short step to the Champions League from there.........or not?

There is no reason why (if they resolve the above matters)
they cannot be in the CL in three years time. dg

Not to get too involved with this. but if Sporting Lisbon
want to loan Spurs a decent kid purely for the purpose
of scoring the winner at the Taxpayer stadium, things
could get very Dier indeed for the Spanners.

Surely we should figure out a way to do Sporting Lisbon a good turn. Top, top club.

We could stop calling them Sporting Lisbon, as they hate it, apparently.
The name of their city doesn't actually feature in their title and it winds them up when it's used, for some reason.
Sporting Clube de Portugal or just Sporting is their preference.

Not for me though, I'm afraid. Clubs aren't named after countries and there are too many Sportings around to just use that.
It would be like Charlton wanting to be called Athletic or, even worse, England Athletic.

A bit like one of numerous clubs in London appropriating the "London" moniker in their badge in a desperate attempt to 'big themselves up'?

After trying to throw Olympic on there, only to find out that was both massively unpopular and not allowed, either.
