I'm not one to laugh at other people's pain, but when I think about how we almost ended up in that stadium I have to chuckle at it all. What a massive bullet to dodge! All things considered, we ain't doing too bad.
"Many Hammers fans regard Spurs as their rival and as they waged a campaign to wrest the Olympic Stadium rights from us, I didn’t regard them as friends. Boris Johnson said we have been an integral part of delivering a massive social and economic legacy from the Olympic and Paralympic Games in east London. Of course we want to beat Spurs tomorrow, but the London Mayor’s praise is worthier bragging rights." - Karrunt Brady, 2015 That aged well...
The "bullet" was going to be flattened to the ground, and NEW STADIUM was going to be built on top, with a faster completion date + lower total costs than what occurred for new WHL.
everyone 'called it', it was the worst kept secret in football. He's the Democratically elected leader of the country now
I'm mildly apathetic to the appointment, we will defend resolutely and attack with some purpose, neither of which we have done in the last 3 months. We have the potential to be a European club, but not whilst those clowns are part of the decision making process. If they want to improve the value of their asset they need to step away from it, but Sullivan likes the limelight too much.
yeah, he got ****ed over by Sullivan, he knows the fans have no love for him, he may just completely **** us over for the lols.
