I'm good thanks Shaks - how are you mate - last I heard was you had got yourself a jib - still there?
Still there TC, finish up in Feb unfortunately, it's one of those work schemes, you only get six years.
Shackleton is very good for Championship level if you can keep him injury free. Neat and tidy on the ball, runs forever and a little ankle biter. Very useful in midfield and can fill in at right back. You lot will love Cresswell down there. Takes no prisoners.
You'll like him. If he was a bit nastier, he'd remind me of your old shortarse nutter, Bosseye. Terrier-like in midfield: this is where he should be played. We've been playing him as a RB, but it was an emergency measure that stuck. Sadly, for him. He never got a PL run in midfield. Was v.good in the Championship when he got a game, and has matured a bit now, so it's not just about energy with him now. I bet you eventually sign him. No chance with Cresswell. He's a beast, and surprisingly for his age, an organiser at the back. Funny to see him screaming shiit at senior players - but they pay attention! Big unit. No chance you'll ever sign him, though - future captain of Leeds United. Nice to see you back, old boy. You been in touch with Mighty? Heard he was into birdwatching now in Malta. Got all the gear, including his portable 'hide'. Seems he's found a nice spot overlooking the nudist beach .....
Not heard from mighty in a while, but if he's busy bird watching Cresswell came on at half time today in our 5-4 defeat at Palarse - scored a good goal apparently - its gone quiet on the Shackleton front, so not sure if that's going to happen now. We signed a young Dutch player that's supposed to be one to look out for called Zian Flemming - also scored today.
Sounds like its happening and just maybe the best signing this summer Leeds United are reportedly just £4million away from agreeing a fee for Paris Saint-Germain’s highly-rated forward Arnaud Kalimuendo. The 20-year-old star spent best part of the last two seasons on loan at Lens and showed his promise by firing 21 goals and providing six assists in 65 appearances for Franck Haise’s side.
We should tell Barca and put it in the contract, miss a payment or if you go bust before the total is paid, then we have him back and sell him for the rest plus interest..well something like that.
Probably not but we should put some clause about the payments or we're unlikely to get it all. Why the **** he wants to go to that clasterfuck for.
Something to do with Ronaldino or Rivaldo playing there when he was a kid and him worshipping the ground they walk on. But I agree with you on a player who can play at any club he wants and him choosing them when they can't afford to keep the lights on and could go bust any day.
Chelsea were just sold for £4 Billion so not sure Barca will be going under anytime soon. Obviously it's a complex situation and there may possibly be some kind of financial reset at some point but football debts would still need to be settled. Personally I'd be more worried being Messi or Ramos than any of the clubs that Barca owe money to as they'd get a complete transfer ban and possibly a lot worse if they don't honour those commitments. Anyway much prefer Raphinha going to Spain rather than staying in the PL. Is it ideal...no, but we need to move on and just focus on ourselves.
Agree rather he goes abroad but can we move on as we want, if we're not getting the money in on time?
Do we go down the road of factoring again, maybe using 49ers bank, we get the cash they get the debt with interest and chase it up?
Not overly concerned about it to be honest as we'll get paid one way or the other. It's possible that may mean taking another player from them at some point but they have a fantastic academy and always have too many players. Plus Chelsea are scum so fook em and would much rather have good relations with Barca than those c***s. At least we presumably now have Firpo debt free as well
