A beautiful new song from Porridge Radio....been well over a year now since we were supposed to see them, hopefully gigs will all be back on soon
Some more good news for a Friday - rescheduled festival, with a revamped line-up....don't get too jealous @kiwiqpr ....Sleaford Mods added!! And some other great artists too!
Over the moon these guys will be there... Gonna have to dig out my old ghillie suit to wear when I go to watch them
**** @mustyfrog Just read your sad news I knew she wasn't well but it's still a shock My thoughts are with you mate
Eddie Reader is a big name up here! Back in the late 80s I went to see Deacon Blue in The Studio in Bristol...before the gig we went to the pub across the road where the band were having a drink so sat and had a couple of rounds with them (Lorraine McIntosh was damn fit back then!). We went into the venue and watched the support, who weren't too bad, but no-one I'd heard of at the time. The venue had an upper mezzanine level and I went to the bar up there to get a few drinks whilst Deacon Blue were on, and ended up chatting and drinking with the girl who had been the lead singer of the support. We parted with a wee kiss, and off I went. The look on my face when she was on Top of the Pops the next week, singing "Perfect" would've made a cracking picture....
thanks mate, am coping ok sort of as are the kids, still I wish she was here as the old her, anyway enough doom and gloom, hope u r ok
