As a socialist i dont agree with grammar schools. All children deserve the same education.....The 11+ was the worst exam ever as it made those who never passed inferior and children should not be treated like that. I'm glad most Grammar schools are gone and all children are treated equal.....The time for exams is when children are more mature and can understand more as they approach life after school and every child should they choose be allowed further education or leave to the work place and a chance of an apprenticeship.....A and O level should be the two exams you need to plan your course into the wide world......
That’s shocking for a structure to be defective after shuch a relatively short time in construction terms.
Not sure if everyone's already seen this, but interesting if it actually happens.... EDIT - lol just seen this is from 2015....oh well... :I
They must have run out of cats and started using rats. The Mrs won't eat (from) anywhere that doesn't have a rating of at least 4. Must maintain standards with that kitten tikka. We used to love the Thai Phoenix, Penlan way, I think. Been a good few years since we went there and I think it closed down after that?
Thai Phoenix had a great reputation for good grub but a couple of negative rumours on Facebook did for then
I've worked and got married there. I'm working at being married now It'll be a shame if it's replaced by (very expensive) housing. This is Swansea so there's a good chance it'll be a balls up.
Prime land so that's what will be built there , better than social housing but hopefully the millions its sale will generate will be put back into the council coffers and used wisely , that's a no then
Not surprising when there isn't an open public toilet in the area, you know the area where loads go for a walk to enjoy the area . A perfect good public toilet closed for over two years which I suppose austerity is reason ,well hopefully that will all change knowing that my council tax will increase by over £80 this year , probably not so be prepared for more of the same ****e (literally)
I see the City is becoming a Hub for overseas students and good on it for that but I wonder have they become a drain on local services or have they contributed to the income of the council , do they pay council tax or is that paid by the landlord for all off campus accommodation ?
