Decent video, doesn't come across as a nob which is promising
You must log in or register to see media
sorry edit that, he comes across really well and seems a decent bloke (watched some training sessions and he comes across as a bit of a southerner (nob), but he's good here
Canny but O'Nien with a fake beard doesn't fool me.

Any fan of Kenny Dalglish will do for me.

Im not the one thats negative as feck mate.
Crying over our new manager is probably 1 of many other things youve cried about today, you just seem that way inclined which tells me you have a sad life.
Did mammy cook your tea warm enough tonight, or did she do you the wrong dish??
Lifes just one big massive negative to you i bet.

Where've you gone Wearside?? Mammy turned the lights out??

I'm not looking at anything that has any connection to Oxford....

Its Mam.....fact!!

One of my wonderful relatives in Chopwell emails quite often.

She always calls her mam Mum and always capitalised ...

... but refers to my mam as Mam, as I'd like it, always capitalised.

She's in her 80's so I truly admire the care she takes.

I have watched it and completely agree that he was referring to the new management group.
Definitely talking about the new owners.
Kept refering to the ownership group. Never heard that before
Also talking about them having significant finance available
But in general just the fact he's here talking about a new progressive structure for the club speaks volumes
Worry not this has nowt to do with SD mate
Gerrin, cheers marras.

I’ve joked on here before about my mum being from Durham and my dad from Torquay. Dad a massive Torquay fan and mum a massive Sunderland fan, so didn’t have much choice and was stuck with this lot :D

honestly didn’t realise that Gary Johnson was still Torquay manager. Some nice symmetry for my family at least that the Johnson’s will be in charge of both.

Talking of Torquay reminds me of when we were on holiday there in the summer of 2017. We were staying in a self catering apartment in Astor House, which had a balcony overlooking the bay. One day there was a knock on the door and a woman asked if her and her son could have a look around because he was going to sign for Torquay and they wanted somewhere for him to stay.
He was called Myles Anderson an played about 30+ games for them and then found himself at Hartlepool, where he played about 40 games. Now at Weymouth, so must have a thing about seaside teams
Really nice lad but has had more clubs than Tiger Woods

I'll be alright lads, my main worry is just that I'll not get signal to check what's happening with the takeover! I've just had thyroid cancer, it's not a really bad one at my age (36) and they've taken my thyroid out a few weeks ago so all should be okay. They did a CT scan prior to the surgery and found it had spread to both of my lymph nodes and the next step would be my lungs. Because of that they removed all the lumps they could find but because of the extent it had spread, and in case any small cells that couldn't be picked up on the scan had made it to my lungs, they've just got me to come in for a radioactive iodine tablet treatment. By all accounts it will blast any remaining cells. So I'm stuck in here while I'm radioactive for a few days and then they'll scan me again regularly over the next few months to make sure it's all been dealt with and nothings coming back. Assuming this works I should be clear and have normal life expectancy, so I'm actually incredibly lucky.

Thanks for the messages everyone , really appreciate it!
All the best wishes with it mate. You seem a decent bloke and much respect for being so positive.

haha
Mate you have no idea of my life.
Everyday I insert positivity into lives and on some days I even save them.
But thank anyway, getting grief from someone who can’t spell mackem always tickles me

Only playing staff over 21 are included in salary cap.

There’s no Financial Fair Play in League One (but if we were way over the deficit would count as one of the rolling years in the Championship, where it does..)

Think Johnson is a very good punt.
Also worth noting only those named in the 25 man squad count. We could theoretically leave Graham out in January for example.
