As Bruce appears to have coined that phrase, along with 'let's see where we are when the Daffodils come up', (they're up by the way Steve), how come he always appears to start to struggle at this point in the season? Surely after all his years in management you'd think that he'd have ready made solutions in place, even a plan B, but we see the same things in the last quarter of every season with seemingly little in the way of answers. I like what I see and hear of him through the media but these cliches of his begin to get a bit frustrating, when he obviously knows what happens at this point in the season but at the same time appears unable to solve the issues and be a perennial struggler.
Sorry, I just don't buy this 'he always ****s up at this stage of the season' crap spouted by bitter SAFC fans. Other teams raise their game, other teams get new managers, livelihoods are at stake, formbook (as was) goes out the window. No manager can control the opposition's or rivals' form and efforts. Has it not been for Elmo's **** up at the corner yesterday, we would have won 1-0 minimum and be cock - a-hoop now Middlesbrough have imploded.
last four games first season with us - 2 points - last four games second season with us - 1 point - last four games third season with us - 1 point - 36 points available - 4 points scored - Brucie ****s up the end of each season - he cant take the pressure - he even ****ed off on his hols last year because he couldn't cope - than he blames the players
I can't believe this SB thing is still being discussed! At least wait to see if he fails before you have a go at him! We can go second on Tuesday! #keepthefaith
First season- promoted Second season- Cup Final and we stayed up or in your world First season- ****ed up and didn't win the league Second season- Lost the Cup Final and flukily stayed up. Let it go man, ffs
you're the one who didn't buy Brucie ****ing up at the end of the season - if you don't like the facts just make some up and pretend he doesn't
Don't get wound up; unless anything you say is positive and was squeezed out of Steve Bruce's backside wrapped in black and amber casing, he'll pull you up on it.
First season promoted only because Watford choked hard. Second season our form fell off a cliff because we focused on the FA Cup. Third season we got relegated after a decent first half of the season.
