He's 'considering' it. It's his No1 priority. We have the physical trappings of a big club but there's no cohesive sporting vision. Levy's job should be looking at what the club needs in the years ahead, setting the vision and recruiting people to deliver it. First team coaches look at the next match and the current season. We desperately need someone who is permanently working in the space in between, driving recruitment (players and suitable coaches), scouting, loans, player development, etc., etc. Until he actually appoints someone who can do that, he can 'consider' my money out of his reach.
Already have links to your posts claiming Trippier would be "much better than Walker" and "world class" copied and ready to go.
He needs to realise that what he's done with the club has made his job too much for one man to do. The stadium project and all of the property investments, etc. have distracted him from running the footballing aspects of his role. Our facilities are world class. Now we need an equally strong plan for the overall squad and the youth academy. Levy's burned a lot of good will from the fans over the last few years, despite delivering on the ground. I'm not sure he realises quite how much, due to the pandemic and absence of crowds.
I was a fan...and could be again but he needs to do HIS job, not everyone else's. If he can't, it's time to join Joe abroad and let someone else have a go.
RCL wanted us to sign Nasri. The only reason he didn't receive a lifetime ban was because we were still reeling from Ensil showing the forum his scrotum.
My brain must be wired up wrong because I remember the first one very clearly but have no recollection of the second incident at all.
If Sarri becomes our manager I will have the motherfucker of all meltdowns...it will make those twats on AFTV look calm and considered, it will make Jose look reasonable and Wenger look even handled and Klopp not look like a wide eyed loon.
I’d be disgusted if they went for Sarri but Spurs seem to like making bad unpopular decisions so nothing would surprise me these days
I actually think Sarris a pretty good manager. Getting a bit longer in the tooth but he's definitely someone who could help build some foundations at your club. I feel we treated him pretty unfairly.
