I can’t believe less than half an hour has been played, so much has happened!
South Africa slowly just strangling this game - as I knew they would. Need a flash of brilliance from Japan to break through
That's it for Japan.
OK, I'll go back to watching footy.
Probably will be Wales v England now.
They were absolutely terrible. The only saving grace is that they can't be worse next week. Can they??!!
I wasn't even in the living room for a lot of the game
Spoke to soon - Murray is back !
Looking forward to tomorrow, New Zealand v England. Will be a terrific match against what appears to be two evenly matched teams. Both have their own strengths, NZ's speed of thought and handling abilities v England's ferocious tackling. Could England be better at the art of tactical kicking? Perhaps it will take the genius of Beaudan Barrett to see NZ through to the final. It would be wonderful to see this most gifted of players perform in the final of this great tournament.
Yes, though I think the ABs have the edge. They appear to be able to go up a gear when needed and I think they’ll win by around 10 points. I’d love England to win, but we just don’t seem to have that final edge when needed.
In the other game (sorry Helen) I can’t see Wales beating the Boks.
I’d love an England/Wales final, but it’s just not going to be ......
Enjoy! If England win they will have deserved it. They have nothing to lose. Agree with you about SA v Wales. SA have more firepower.
Anyway, on to the important stuff...
Blimey - NZ have picked a team from the land of the giants.
Getting used to rugby scorelines after yesterday
Am I the only one who things the Hakka shouldn’t happen before a game? other teams should be able to do what they want against it?
England players started to move forward on the edge of their V and the referee stopped them. That’s wrong. Why do NZ get the advantage of performing their war dance?
If it was me I would disrespect it. Line up and then turn the team backs on it and walk away. Do a Morris dance. Anything.
Wowzers! What a start!
Well that was quick!
A good response.
