I think I'm right in saying 3 goals in 22 is better than Shane's recent for us. Can't be arsed to check, starting the pre match warm up outside the Oude Sluys watching the boats chug through the lock.
And despite the doubts genuinely expressed by others, if Ralph thinks it's the way to go with Theo, I'm very happy with that.
I was going to make the same comment about Tella running (more skipping) over to Theo after he scored. I think he has an important role with the players coming through and its easy to forget his pedigree - he may not achieved the career heights he could have done because of Wenger, but he's had a very good career and he seems he really wants to be with us.
Gets busy during the summer especially weekends, this afternoon bliss. I might need a snooze pre KO. There's a spot for a Saints scarf inside the Oude Sluys, A '76 cup one would piss off the plastic Mancs.
After some of the head cases we have signed recently, it’s nice to see us sign a normal footballer. Yes I mean Osvaldo and Hoedt.
A normal player who remembers who helped him early doors and opened up opportunities for him. It matters to him, it seems, whose shirt he's wearing. My grandson is over the moon as we bought him a Theo Walcott shirt for his birthday!
Going off at a tangent but what exactly did hoedt do? Apart from not being very good and not really wanting to play for us?
I think this report here supports a lot of whats been said here Good bloke, experienced pro, fitted in amazingly well, hasn't blown anyone away with his performances, really wants to be here. https://www.prostinternational.com/...ty-theo-walcott-the-dressing-room-confidante/ I think its a good move on balance. We need this as much as new young talent.
Its more what he said when he had been shown the door by three managers including Ralph I rthink. Has an ego the size of St Marys.
Yeah, that would be a concern. I think we all know by now which end of the rich man’s table we are sat at (clue; we’re not far from the door).
I will never regret us signing Osvaldo. Worth every bit of trouble he caused, just for that goal against City.
You can google it yourself but my recollection (coloured not doubt) is that he was the best player at the club but wasn't given a chance. That Hassenhuttl lied to him, that he wasn't wanted even tho we are **** and that he is done with the club. There were 2 or three exploisive scathing interviews if you need keywords for your search.
Wow I had heard he had a bad attitude but didn’t realise he said that. I googled it and found some words about it.
