I hope to **** this is true! Supposedly, Selik Quick Knews paid £3000 for an advert in the paper explaining that Rangers are a new club, even in spite of everything to the contrary.

Anyway, I guess some folk really care too much about a game of football. Imagine paying £3k for an totally pointless advert.

Well, what do you need explaining?

The SPFL, who represent every club, say that we're the same Club.
The SFA say we're the same club.
UEFA say we're the same club.
Lord Nimmo Smith says we're the same Club.
The ECA say we're the same Club.

But Celtic Quick News say we're not.

Post 7 doesn't matter my learned friend. The bodies who govern football have all said that we're the same club. Sure, the corporate entity that operated our sporting license was subjected to a criminal act and has subsequently ceased trading but the Club pre-dated the Limited company by nearly 30 years and has continued to this day.
