    It was the thought of spending my life in the place with an unchanging landscape that caused me to leave the city. I know a lot of people on here are more keen on tradition and preservation but it leaves me cold. Probably why I wasn't bothered about us becoming Hull Tigers.

    It looked **** in 1969 , and most of what's on the giddy still hasn't changed , the only shock is that all the cheap post war buildings still stand today ,

    If you lot can't see the difference between 1969 and now, I'd suggest that's at least partly because you have a skewed worldview, borne out of negativity.

    so........................... by your ideas, London is a **** city for constantly building and changing things?
    London is **** for many reasons... constant change is not one of them

    Yet another post that makes no sense.

    I never said anything about London. I was expressing disbelief at the fact that some of you can't tell the difference between Hull in 1969 and Hull now.

    If you can't see the changes that have taken place in Hull since 1969, you must be even thicker than everyone already thinks you are.
