100 songs that turn 60 this year. Musically, 1963 wasn't a bad year - and there's only 10 here that I don't recognise.
Borrowing perhaps from Dorothy Parker’s epigram, which was “You can lead a whore to culture, but you can’t make her think.”
Research by Durham University into what is causing the price of new build housing to spiral. "the difference between the RICS index and GFCF per dwelling is largely explained by an increase in housebuilders’ profits. According to our calculations, their profits per dwelling rose £75,000 between 2000 and 2019." Why am I not surprised? https://theconversation.com/builder...er-charging-for-new-homes-new-findings-200750

Already there. Highly recommended. I ate meat till I was in my early to mid-forties, and I very quickly felt the health benefits. The environmental impact is obvious. The future has to include a massive move towards vegetarianism. We’re wrecking this planet, probably irretrievably, but a such a change would help give Earth a chance, and we owe that to our children and grandchildren.
He's not wrong. "if the company that pollutes the environment uses bad business practices - if you don't buy their stuff, they will change. If you don't want food with chemicals or GMOs in it, then don't buy it."
I had a similar experience with two ticks which involved my wife, a torch, a duty dr and tweezers in a Paris hotel at 01.00 am. Go gently.... comes to mind
