Never wore full tracksuits when I was a kid. I did used to wear my full PJ's when I was a bairn. I've slept naked most of my adult life but getting older now so this seems like natural progression and canny cool, too.
Ok, the sun is out and I've been doing a bit of spring/summer wardrobe refreshment so time to fire up the Threads thread. Needed a new pair of smart shorts for knocking about, so have bought some navy chinos from Quiksilver. Very nice, can be worn casual of with a shirt in summer if going out. Added to that, a nice slim fit long sleeve linen short from Ralph Lauren. Also versatile. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
As per the Oxford shirt comments on the woke thread. I’ve got a pink and a pale blue one. Also got some very smart two fold cotton shirts. White and pale blue. Can’t do linen shirts as I find they crease up too easily and look a bit untidy
I think those Oxford cottons do that. I just find linen shirts end up looking like a crumpled old shopping bag after a while. Horses for courses though.
Usually end up adding a few more polo shirts to my polo shirt collection I’d say the polo shirt is the perfect summer garm…always has been. Undo a few buttons and increase the passage of fresh air to help you stay cool and somewhere to hang your shades and remain looking cool Quality counts not primark 3 for a tenner stuff because it won’t keep its shape n fit
Will have to look through the ones I've already got. If I've not worn for a year or so, get rid and replace. Got a good few still of use though, don't think I need new this year but will see.
Have taken a slight shift toward the dark side and got myself a pair of these. Second pair, have also got some Gore Tex ones but they are in the wardrobe till next autumn now. These new one for spring and summer. Gearing up for holiday clobber now.
