    The Championship table
    2nd Crystal Palace
    5th Leicester
    7th Watford

    14/12/15
    The Premier League table
    3rd Leicester (possibly 1st tomorrow)
    6th Crystal Palace
    7th Watford

    and funnily enough.... I was just thinking about discussing promotion and some people saying better to be in the championship.... as we would struggle so much in the Prem.....

    i have always thought that you take the promotion and see were it takes you ,even if we ended up a jo jo club

    I agree Brian - apart from the top six or so, most clubs have spells up and down West Brom, West Ham, Birmingham, Leicester have all had their ups as well as downs. There are only 7 clubs that have never been relegated from the Prem

    Even when we were flying in the first division, GT said that WFC should be a top 30 club. Anything less was underachievement - and he was as ambitious as they come. So, we are on the crest of our wave just now. Enjoy it Maybe we are going to become a top 20 club -( Bolton must have thought that too, about 11 consecutive seasons in Prem) ! Our owners seem to be planning for that - and that is wonderful. But quite a lot has to change for us to be considered solid members of the top division in english football - not least some more academy players coming through.
