I'm currently in Scotland, in a Tier 3 area.

Which isn't as bad as your Tier 3.

But better than your Tier 2.

It could move into Tier 4 however. (Which is the highest tier in a 5 tier scale obvs).

I'm taking an average every time I cross the border, which I do regularly, factoring in how long I'm spending in each Country.

    I reckon I'm currently in Tier 2.77546.

Which means, by my calculations, that I can stay in a pub until seventeen minutes past ten.

    Result.

So, if you France and Germany have it wrong? You must be glad we voted for Brexit. Teachers presumably be going shopping given the risks...

The last Covid thread we had became a politics slanging match and ended up being locked.

Let’s not take this one the same way.

    Not really...

I was trying to make my point without being explicitly political.

    As requested...

Anyway, if you want a joke here's one of my favourites:

    What's the bare minimum?

    One bear.

Actually it's better spoken than written down.

    That's homophones for ya.

There's a joke in there anarl. You don't have to look too far.

    I’ll save everybody the time.

**** us. All we want is time off, all the time. We aren’t interested in the children, all we want is time off so we can doss about doing nothing while all other sectors work hard.

What would be ideal is that we go into lockdown so we get 6 weeks holiday for free regardless of how this pandemic turns out and we get to sit on our laurels doing nothing picking up a wage for free.

There we are. I’ve provided the small minded, complete ****er of an opinion for those sniffing for it. I dare anybody to match it, because I’d have ****ing words, face to face, mask to mask.

I think it means the Council stand more chance of getting money from the Government, as that's about the only thing that makes any sense.

The fact it's seemingly going up suggests that either the figures are iffy, and/or masks and lockdowns don't work, unless the aim is to increase the death rate for all the non-covid ailments and other treatments that don't go ahead.

There’s numerous videos circulating social media of testing centres up and down the country with nobody there getting tests and people asking those that work there to comment. They’re speculating that if the test centres are empty, how are cases going up.

Is it fatal enough to keep ****ing up the economy, ruining people’s mental health, and having knock on effects down the line for people who are missing screening appointments for other deadly diseases? Suppose the jury is still out and the answer to that will vary dependant in how it’s effected each person individually. I’m in Australia, it’s hardly effected my day to day life so my viewpoint may be a bit skewed. I think worldwide we reacted hard and strongly to an threat we knew little about. It seems like no government worldwide wants to step back and say ‘ok we overacted, but it was to keep you safe. Now we’re just going to get on with normal life because we can’t keep living this way’. It all seems like one giant face saving exercise. I’m no conspiracy theorist but I’ve just been looking for official mortality percentage stats for covid and I can’t find any. At least non any further than June. Seems to line up with when testing was ramping up and made more readily available which I assume would have brough down the mortality rate significantly
