Please predict: which west brom player will dive for a penalty will it be outside the area or miles out of the area? will the norwich player be unjustly sent off or just unjustly booked? will motd stay it is a stonewall penalty or not? and for a bonus point, when will the crowd start bringing 5.9 signs to the ground?
Morning Guys, Just love reading all the comments about the penaltys, and sending offs you have had so far this season, welcome to the Prem. Just a question, for a big guy how many times do you think Holt will go down with or without the slightest of touches in the box?. Another point on players play acting, the slightest of touches and they roll around in death throws, score a goal, the whole team leap all over them,up they jump salute the goal and jog off. Having said that, good luck today. (would'nt be surprised if Holty goes down for a pen.)
I hope he does and we score the winning goal from it - will be a little justice for the first 3 games
Cheating is not justice in an ideal world but the PL is not an ideal world in any way. In general terms I am not one to go with cheating and I truly hate seeing it happen, especially against my team and in consecutive games BUT if that is what it is going to take to keep our slim hopes of survival then so be it. Anyone in the PL who labels our team as cheats will have little or no right to do so as practically all of them do exactly the same when they are not getting what they want from a game. If we nick a point or even win by doing so, that will be fine by me. If you had asked me the same thing before the season started I would never had said these things but I have seen enough in 3 games to see it is something we might 'need' to do to survive.
I think if everyone in the canary seats ironically claps and cheers when we concede our next pen, it will freak out the ref big time..
Well Monarch, were you watching? Are we really as cynical as you thought before? The old saying 'cheats never prosper' is not true in this league
It's bloody cruel Jager. Had decisions been what we would called 'fair' we could easily be on 6 points or more, as it is we are on 2.
1) Steven Reid 2) Inside (For once) 3) No, surprisingly 4) Have to wait and see 5) Next game would probably be good!
I know how it feels mate, we should have buried Sunderland with our chances, and I feel we had the better of the gunners yesterday and should have came away with at least a point. You seem to be getting the bad decisions right now, I'm sure that will right itself over the season for you, these things tend to.
They don't right themselves until the second season. Your team needs to get smart - and quick. Wait until you play against Nani, Rooney, Van Persie, Defoe and about twenty other 'regulars' who the refs know on first name terms. When they see your managers lamenting in the press, it just makes things worse.
Thing is Liz I have no real complaints about the refs so far, they have been pretty fair up to now, but await the crap decisions with baited breathe as they are sure to come
