He set up too negatively against a **** Real Madrid side. Had they been not quite so ****, City could well have lost the game. He got out of jail in the end, so he's a genius of course.

First half was awful...these are supposed to be 2 of the finest teams in Europe yet both side's seemed content to sit in a play out a 0-0 draw.....poor show especially from Madrid......
2nd half improved, best thing to happen was for Madrid to score first, at least city showed that they are a good side once sterling came on and started to use his pace.....City should have been out of sight by the end...
Madrid are a shadow of their former selves.....

I just turned on the radio and listening to BBC Berks.
It’s comical gold! They are interviewing the deluded Reading fans coming out the ground.
    They want the manager out.
Ha ha the Reading commentator says it’s still possible to make the play-offs! <laugh>

I find it distressing that we are below both Cardiff and Millwall. Fix that, get 60 points and it’s a good season.

    Nah.
Agreed that Real Madrid aren't the side they were, although they still have some outstanding players.
He set out to surprise them with his line up and to let them come on to City.
I dislike Pep, but that was a masterclass.

The away goals rule means home sides are content with a nil-nil after the first leg.

Yeah I get that Col but I watch football for enjoyment and that first half was just a snooze fest......sadly that's the way the European cup competitions have become in recent years with one or two exceptions....it's becoming a turn off...

    I'm not disagreeing with that.
Although I do enjoy a tactical battle, it does get tedious.

Quite weird these handball rules - the Naarwich defender pushes the ball with his arm onto the Leicester players hand. Obviously, no goal!

Watching the Hibies thump Inverness Cally Thistle. Why is this being shown on the BBC?

I need to get up to Easter Road again, it’s been too long.
