---^^--- DD is right. Any further comments on the pros and cons of the monarchy etc can and should be put on the general conversation thread, please as they have now't to do with today's matches.
Rob cautioned about that and I agree, but there is some relevance in that the funeral forced the EFL to change the whole league programme. That could easily have been avoided.
I don't disagree with your comments I simply don't care one way or the other. . I think BBC have Chelsea v Man City on at 530 and that will be the only thing I watch all weekend .
Anyway, back to football and a good blog on our situation and that of Watford and Bournemouth: https://norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/there-has-never-been-a-better-time-for-norwich-to-be-promoted/
You just have to accept that some people have different opinions and possibly they are passionate about The Royal Family . I switch off mentally and literally to it but I don't berate those that do care. The 1230 kick off time hasn't inconvenienced my day in the slightest and I'm used to having kick offs moved to different times mainly for Sky games. Today should be one of celebration as we may get promoted today that's all I care about.
You asked me! (and I did warn). But I do agree. Excited about today. While I obviously care about the result, I think it’s more how we perform that will be interesting over the next few games. They won’t decided whether we get relegated or stay up, but it will be a hood test.
You could have just typed No I won't be watching it . I actually enjoy a good debate on current affairs but there may be some patriotic posters that served in the Miltary or have deep feelings about our country and monarchy that may not share the same views. You often need to be wary of what you read for example Rick gave an example of racism by the Duke mentioning "Bongo bongo land" I was going to leave it but out of fairness that was actually Godfrey Bloom responsibility for that quote.
And Luton by all accounts should be beating Watford. The stream there has gone down for me unfortunately.
