First side picked by Bruce although he’s not allowed in the dug out as his massive head won’t fit under the roof.

Nice to see Sorensen getting a start up from with our Japanese Michael Owen lookalike.

We look a lot more up for this one and as I type this Sorensen was unlucky not to put us 1-0 up.

Players obviously looking to impress the new gaffer so hopefully we’ll make a good game of this.

Clark lucky to still be on the pitch for me now like, not exactly a horror tackle but a nasty one nonetheless, didn’t even get a yellow but I think more down to **** officiating and it being a friendly.

We certainly look a lot sharper in this game, first time I’ve seen Sorensen play really and I really like the look of him. Gets himself into good positions and his runs off the ball are really good, seems to have a very good football brain from what I’ve seen so far.

I wonder whether the likes of Sorensen, Aarons, Muto, Colback etc will make a real impact next season and replace the players we have lost. I think they would all do a job in the championship, but I have concerns against fit premier league opposition.

West Ham look off the pace today.

Muto looks good for me, not been given a chance in the squad as yet. Seems to blow a bit hot and cold tbh either good/very good or anonymous! Probably score more than Gayle if given the same number of games and more versatile.
Aarons and Murphy are fine for back up/cup games for me
Colback - feel the lad gets a lot of unfair criticism but not good enough.
Saviet - Mo Diames ready made replacement? happy to give him time as a squad player.
Sorenson - Needs a decent loan to get into the swing of first team action, same with the rest of the youth options.

They were set upon by a bunch of drunks and defended themselves amorously while picking up Brucey's first order from the chip shop!

The order probably was large enough to rival Big Smokes

Was very happy to see Muto in the 11, even happier that he scored. Was signed and not really given a sniff by Rafa.

Having a manager, any type of manager, has really made us look like an actual team again. It was actually shocking how badly we devolved without a manager, thanks for keeping up the training sessions lads but please, back to the under 9s of wherever you manage.
