At Liverpool tomorrow, then home to Spurs next Sunday.

    Fighting spirit, or pina colada?

I reckon they might grind one point, but even that seems a tad hopeful.
    Any outrageously positive predictions people?

Second bottom in the form table with two wins in ten, unfortunately suggests a freebie to both sides but football is never a precise science.

Liverpool also have to play Hull the match after too - the only thing that can surely go wrong for them is fatigue which is similar to what appears to be happening at Spurs.

Carver is watching his short managing career disappear, lets hope he can stir up a rocket & get a response. But in truth, I'd rather Spurs & Pool were playing anyone else but Newcastle while we are battling them for that special, history making, season defining fifth place.
    Come on Magpies, surprise us.

Sometimes the team with nothing to lose nothing to gain plays with a freedom and can produce some nice football. Doesn't mean they'll get anything, but who knows.

Newcastle are absolutely dreadful. There is no chance of them getting anything from the next two

So lucky to be on 35 points, if they were on 32 I'd tip them to go down, they are Crap with a capital c. Spurs will walk over them.

The Geordies are in disarray. They were never going to get anything at Anfield, but at home to Spurs whose own season might just be petering out, who knows? Away the lads and all that.

We just have to concentrate on getting something at Stoke, which won't be easy. A point there will ensure we're still above spurs when we play them at St Marys. How I'd love to see Poch all forlorn on the touchline looking like a young Glenn Hoddle as we sing "you're getting sacked in the morning!"
