What a rollercoaster that was, good luck to both Cardiff and Swansea, I don’t want another London club in the PL next season and there could be a slight chance Leeds will raid Brentford if they stay down.
OK lads, 240 quid paid out and in the bin for City finishing in the top 6 punt. Now for the last one left - the biggie. Whadya think - take the dosh or hang in there until after we knock out Fulham?.......... please log in to view this image
Your call Sparks looks like they don't give a chance though £48.58 not to be sniffed at but I would have thought it should be more.
Agree that 48 quid is a poor offer Dai as they're only offering 4/1 on City going up at the moment. On that basis the C/O should be well over 50 quid because you'd have to invest £68 right now to get the projected £340 return.
Hang in there Sparkey - your real loss would be the original tenner, and the momentum's with us. That said if it comes to a shoot out between us and the Jacks I wouldnt like to call it and a cash out may be wise then
Congratulations on your win sparkey With regards to the 33/1 bet for promotion I'd let it ride and hope for the best. Perhaps a saver bet on Fulham to be promoted at 9/4 would keep your interest were you to be knocked out. To be honest though I wouldn't bother, you've had a good win and anything else is a bonus now. See you in the PL if all goes well
Should be a cracker of a semi-final. Both teams in decent form and although Fulham are favourites your boys must be brimming with confidence after a fine end to the regular season. Let's see what happens in the first leg but a draw wouldn't be the worst result and it might even end up being decided on extra time and pens at Craven Cottage.
If we do manage to go to CC on level terms, we'll go through. Not sure about the other semi and who I'd prefer if we did get to Wembley.
Nin, assume you mean our little cousins down the road? That's my biggest fear with them is that they definitely have the luck of the Devil with them right now. Dodgy non-penalty awarded 4 games back when desperately needed. Wurzles miss a penalty against them in the penultimate game when a draw would have ended their hopes most likely. Reading looking good against them only to have a man sent off relatively early on. Now Brentford get a man sent off against them in the first leg.... Can that kind of sheer good fortune continue?
I am. It just goes on game after game. That wasn’t even a foul yesterday but that idiot midget ref (the one who disallowed Bamba’s goal at Millwall) saw it as red so again they get to play a decent chunk of a game versus 10 men. If there’s any justice or karma they’ll be at the wrong end of a few decisions in the 2nd leg.
Looking like the Jacks luck is finally starting to run out. Their players are falling over at every opportunity. No wonder so many reds have been dished out against them. Brentford should be 5 up by now. Gotta laugh at their match thread. They've gone from "we can do this" back to "Cooper is effin useless" in about 3 posts!
