To be fair the change in the leadership of Labour in Sunderland has made a big difference, they seem to have a clear vision for the city now.

What a horrible little cnut he is, if ever there was an example of the small man theory this is it.
Jumps up and down like a naughty child seeking attention, Labour are welcome to him.

The bloke couldn't sort anything out, this is the bloke that was in charge of the CPS that said there was no case to bring against Jimmy Savile and he's supposed to going to bring the labour back from the worst state its been in for years after JC had his hands on it.
Get someone in charge who actually cares about the hard working men and women of this country as that actually why the labour party was formed. Instead of looking out for the unemployed and students as they are probably in the largest swing to gain extra votes.
The most annoying thing about the labour party is how much they take the working man's vote for granted, that's why JC ****ed up so much, instead of looking out for who he had he was more interested in who he could get .

It has been the norm for retiring Speakers of The House, to recieve a peerage after retireing.
But the again it was also the norm for speakers to be uncontroversial and impartial, not something that this former Speaker has ever been accused of.

Boris ignored him for a Peerage and this looks like a hissy fit from Grumpy, (well he certainly aint Happy).

Difficult to see what he might add to his new party, but Sally might liven up any social gatherings.

    Still after that peerage......

Bercow is Remain's problem perfectly encapsulated. Bet wrong (because it's just a bet to these kind of people, their lives don't change in any significant way), refused to accept the result, tried to stop it, lost, refused to accept that result as well, then whinges when the winners choose not to be good winners because the losers have been such bad losers.

    "2021 Batley and Spen by-election - Wikipedia" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Batley_and_Spen_by-election

There’s a labour stronghold seat on the line this Thursday, will be interesting to see how the public react to the recent Liberal victory over the tories running roughshod with hs2 and building cheap homes in the tory heartland coupled with the latest tory hipocrosy over Hancock... With Labour non existent at the present, the Libs could be in with another shout?

300 votes, yikes. Not really somewhere we can take anything nationwide from though, given the fedora wearing dickhead's antics there. Still, it's scraping by on penalties somewhere Labour normally win at a canter.

So Labour disenchanted voters went for George Galloway, representing the Workers party of Britain, who came third with 8,264 votes.

Boris Johnson and Michael Gove were holidaying in a Welsh village. One morning they were out walking Boris's dog, and decide to go to a nearby pub for a pint. Twenty minutes later a guy walks up to them, lifts the dog's tail up, then walks out.
A few minutes later, a woman walks into the pub, goes straight up to Boris and Gove, lifts the dog's tail up and walks out.
Boris an Gove look at each other a little bemused.
A few minutes later, yet another woman walks in and again lifts up the dog's tail, and turns to walk out.
" Excuse me", said Boris, "you're the third person to walk in and do that, what's it all about?"
" Oh! It's nothing really" said the woman, but somebody's put it around the village that there's a dog in the pub with two arseholes "!
