Full time. Much more mellowed second half, unsurprisingly.

Kulu, Biss, Spence and White very impressive in the first.

Other than Doherty’s second, our only half decent chance in the second half was from Lankshear where he had his header blocked after a good cross from Mundle.

Enjoyable warm up game before the first WC quarter final though.

 

Conte should be using such games with a view
to having a weakest possible starting XI ready
for the Portsmouth game.

Interesting to see our front three pressing so much in this

Hopefully a sign of the second half of the season

 

Gil and Sanchez the other Spurs goalscorers, for those who can't be arsed to click.
Nice to see Lenglet playing, given Davies not being 100%.

 

Tonight's game against Nice starts at 7pm.

I can sort of understand the reasoning, as it's likely that Hojbjerg's getting hooked at half time so instead we gave the armband to or most senior player

The fact that our most senior player is Sanchez underlines just how much churn our squad's had in the last three years

It does feel like pre-season doesn’t it?

 

Hopefully Arsenal will forget that they've actually looked like a competent sports team until now.

Our PoTM I would say. Although Bissouma ran him close. (And his partnership with Sarr looks promising)
Otherwise we learnt the sq root of **** all from that. Well apart from being reminded about the 3 certainties in life: Taxes, death and the fact that Royal is ****! .

 

He's not ****, he's just utterly unsuited to our system.
Doherty massively outshining him on the wrong wing makes that clear to everyone.
So why does Conte keep picking him?

I think that Gil getting a good run, even from the bench, could be massive.
Works hard, has some really impressive skills and he terrifies defenders when he runs at them.
Just needs a little bit of work on his final ball and to get used to the physicality over here.

I thought that the other, other Thuram had something about him tonight.
Could be one to keep an eye on.
