He's squeeling..turn it up...he's hyper ventilating...just be honest JJ...you had a massive cry like the rest of us...at the end of the day we are long suffering fans.

My head was in my hands when we missed our 'last chance'....when Luca scored...it was all fuzzy...I was on the floor...couldn't hear anything...just a buzzing noise in my ear...thought I was going to die...my kid Came into the room...you ok dad? All I can here is you punching the floor and saying 'OMG'...I just looked at him and pointed at the score because had I said anything verbally I would have been blubbing like a baby

    Football!

Having more to time to review the 2nd half stuff, I was surprised
how little hoofball there was (as per the haters claims) .

Only the last goal actually came via that.

Perhaps Ajax feared the long ball + Llorente hold-up sufficiently
that their back four stayed back (and could not link up with the MF
in attack) , in addition to when it got more PL physical.

Ajax were rattled by Llorente, we knew that after the first leg. Blind can’t deal with the physical game and although de Ligt is a very good centre half - especially considering his age - he’s not yet the outstanding player he will be one day. Llorente was able to rattle him and nights like that were why we bought the experienced big man, and why is definitely have him around for another year to come if we could!

I also think the Ajax team suffered what we did against Juventus previously. They had really good spells over a two legged tie and got undone by a team who have been through the CL wringer before. If the team stayed together like ours did then I doubt they’d make the same mistake again but unfortunately for Ajax, it looks like they’ll have to rebuild once again.

I've contacted BT to ask them how they plan to do this (the guaranteed that they would when getting the contract) no answer yet, if I get one I will let people know.

Half the planet Earth want to see Spurs in Madrid and the other half Liverpool. So what do they do? Give 16,000 tickets each to Spurs and Liverpool and put the remaining 36,000 on the black market!!!!!

I sense that he has been looking for a cathartic performance to reaffirm
the talent he has that made PSG buy him in the first place, and purge
    any self-doubt lingering.

    Job done IMHO.

So it’s confirmed that it was Harry Kane’s halftime speech that inspired the dressing room to come out and defeat Ajax.

That’s great but could our captain Hugo Lloris have done the same? I seriously doubt it which begs the question why he’s captain if it takes a Kane speech to lift the team?

Maybe Kane just decided he was going to have his say?

Lloris must have something about him hes captain of his country too. Was listening to radio, they were saying hes a calming influence in the changing room. I suppose there is more than one way to lead.

i preferred the warcry myself to get me going and thats what we needed agai st Ajax and it worked.

This is that same calming influence that had numerous on field brain farts and mad moments?

We already have Poch as a calming influence. A captain for me is there to motivate and get players going, as Kane did who wasn’t even playing that day. Says it all.

A goalkeeper can’t do that sat in the 18 yard box.
