A brief summary of the BBC match centre coverage 19:59 - Players like Sancho are in Dortmund's DNA (Raphael Honigstein) 20:03 - Did you know I interviewed Jadon Sancho last year? (Simon Stone) 20:03 - Jadon Sancho's first touch of the night 20:06 - Jadon Sancho is going to test Tottenham tonight (Lee Dickson) 20:17 - It's interesting looking at Jadon Sancho against Jan Vertonghen (Lee Dickson) 20:22 - Jadon Sancho goes past his man! His past didn't beat the first defender, but he went past his man!!! 20:24 - Look at this photo of Jadon Sancho (Lee Dickson) 20:24 - Jadon Sancho exchanges passed, but his shot hits Pulisic's backside. But he had a shot, be thankful! 20:26 - Jadon Sancho's heat map 20:27 - ****, I haven't got in on the Jadon Sancho love-in yet (Phil McNumpty) 20:32 - We like the look of Jadon Sancho (three allegedly different people on the phone-in) It's more nauseating than that FA Cup match back in 2006 when the commentators were hyping up every time Theo Walcott was within thirty feet of the ball, back when Walcott was a hot prospect at Southampton and not a headless chicken at Arsenal dining out on one game against Croatia for a decade?
Hate to say it but Moura is looking like a passenger again. Not offering much at all. I like this shape so would prefer him coming off for Llorente
I still believe he makes more impact as a substitute. Easy to say with the benefit of hindsight but starting with Llorente and bringing on Lucas later in the game might have been a better option for tonight...
Have to agree I'm afraid. Looks well out of sorts. Hoped the early chance might spark something but fraid not.
Play has been poor, for nothing more than lacking the ball control we would expect academy players to have.
Not playing with any confidence or cohesion. Like we picked 4 or 5 players who have never played together before. Very odd performance so far....
And now for fifteen minutes of the pundits saying how Jadon Sancho will unite the warring tribes, turn water into wine, and make my Epson printer anything other than a complete ****ing nuisance...
We seem to be hitting a bit of a wall. Need to get the ball to Eriksen more instead of Son and Moura dropping so deep to collect it. Very compact in the middle...we need to get it over their fullbacks like they are doing to us Crowd and players started dozing at the same time it seems. The team needs the fans to make some serious noise and drown that ****ing drum out
