Could match Leicester for their end of season match last season when everyone left apart from their families and directors
I think this ended his career , the canine Charlie Adams Not even a yellow, dogs in football matches was quite common in the 60s , great fun watching the groundsman or police try to catch it , after this it was taken more seriously
I reckon DierHard might be taking his pooch along this weekend....just in case Lucas gets a few minutes!
To be fair I’ve got no issues with him getting a send off. I think all players that have been here for a decent spell deserve even just a cameo to be applauded by the fans. It’s been the constant appearances over players like Gil and then Mundle/ Danjuma throughout the season that’s pissed me off, he’s old news and yet still getting chances, whereas fresh meat gets overlooked. I’m not completely ruthless, just 99% of a prick.
I know you love him really, mate. Seriously though, he may never have been or become a top, top player, but he gave me one of the highpoint memories of 57 years supporting this club. He was a grafter and popular in the dressing room, so you're right, he deserves a send off. And if he has not been fully 'at it' for the past 2 seasons then we shouldn't underestimate the impact of being (scandalously) dropped from the CL Final.
You will never see another player whose entire career was defined by as short a period of time as Lucas Moura. Take that 45mins in Amsterdam away and you're looking at an expensive Nacer Chadli.
One of quite a few reasons why I am not in the 'get Poch back ' crowd. ( another reason is letting Marcus Edwards go ).
Last home game of a season that everyone will delighted to see the end of which Tottenham will turn up? Lucas is the only definite player leaving and hopefully the crowd will be seeing a couple of others for the last time too. Hopefully Bissouma will start in a midfield 3 I would also bring in Kulu and leave out Richarlison and Porro.
By now DH you should know that we do eventually come round to your thinking but we are not going to do that without a fight.
I'm happy to go through the trenches if it means helping you all eventually see the light, Spurf. Just the type of bloke I am!
With regards to send offs tomorrow, you’ll have all the broadcasters getting their best psychiatrists focused on kane’s body language at the end of the game.
