Been back in training for a week or two now, probably starts Thursday night though tbh.

Don’t think there’s a right or wrong team to debut against to be honest. I think right now there is (or should be) an opening for him to get a chance seeing as no one has convinced in the position so far.

Tbh I can't disagee with you re our three CD.
Was really disappointed that Alderweireld and Dier were given new contracts.
Think Jose has made up for it with the way he has been dealing with Rose, Dele and N'dombele.

Rose is nowhere near the first team and pretty much committed a PR hari kari on the camera with his "I'm talking to Daniel" hissy fit.

N'dombele has responded to being called out by showing character and pride by putting in some good performances.

Dele is at the crossroads...his choice...and he has seen both options.

Jose has impressed me since lockdown tbf.

Yeah it’s safe to say I was pretty pissed at the Toby one especially. Snaked us and Poch for roughly 2 years then signed the new deal when he knew no one better than Spurs wanted him.

I think Ndombele is just being given the chances now and to be honest I think that’s more because of Levy than Jose on that one. Sounds like he had to smooth it over between the two and thankfully it was the right thing.

Rose and Dele are hopefully the first of a line of players we begin binning from the squad (and selling obviously). Club had an amazing summer window but there’s still a lot of mediocrity here that’s needs chucking in the bin asap and then replacing with players more hungry to do well.

Interesting that Davies starts instead of Regulion. I guess the latter played twice last week and Davies might be more of a help defending set pieces if it comes to that.

Crazy to think Winks, Alli, Aurier, Bergwijn and Sanchez can’t even make the squad. Our strength in depth is incredible.

    Cue us losing

Strong, physical workman like side that .
That bench is probably the strongest we have had for years.

Being able to bring Bale and Vinicius on as attacking options is incredible. Hope we don’t need them!

Spurs always seem to get the 'raw deal'.
Here we are the first evening after clocks have gone back and
Spurs get scheduled to kickoff at 8 0'clock on the sleepiest of
all Monday nights and worst still, away to Burnley.

Travelling into the Northern wilderness to start a game at hitherto 9pm...
    Whats dhat all-about!

I’m absolutely as pessimistic as you are trust me. I bet on other teams against us as it manages my expectations!

    LAWRO'S PREDICTION
That just showed how Spurs are still something of an enigma and, as dangerous as they are going forward, they are still vulnerable at the back.

I think Burnley can capitalise, if they take the game to Spurs. The Clarets are getting players back from injury, and I'm backing them to get their first win of the season.

    Seemed to work against Utd.
I think that he adds a level of physicality and athleticism that our midfield needs.
Hojbjerg protects, Ndombele gets it forward and Sissoko works his arse off to help them both.

That said, there's certainly room for improvement in areas of our squad and he might be one of them.
He's 31 and it might be tough to keep playing the way that he does in the Premier League for too many more years.
