Very strange game. We restricted them to barely anything by playing dour football, especially in the first half. With a better squad or a less crazy schedule we could have won in normal time, though it wouldn’t have been pretty. As it is we do the Chavs in a shootout in a cup competition, which is always going to be a sweet feeling. ****ING GET IN LADS
What can he say about that one? I suppose he could go full Pep and boast about how much possession they had.
I don't know which I like more in that clip: Dier's ball to pick out Reguilon, or Lamela clearly shouting "Puta!" in his celebration
No you misunderstand. If you give up on a player because they were bad when everyone was bad then you're at fault. If you want to claim it was because of the previous then you're still at fault for expecting a player to suddenly 180. Lets say Dele was good in the first game, how many more does that buy him? Is there a ratio of good to bad games? Is it next bad game and Dele's out regardless? Setting a ridiculous arbitrary bar was a waste of time for everyone.
Mad to think we had a rotated XI and Eric Dier went for a **** mid-game and we still turned the chavs over. Love it, ****ing love it.
I would definitely keep Lamela, sissoko, winks and moura as squad players. You can absolutely see why Mourinho loves dier and he is a good player and I wouldn’t want to see him go.
