Are you advocating a Director of Football PNP?

Again. We seem to have some sort of committee, though I'm unsure of what any of them are actually in charge of.

    Excellent post imo.
My idea of a plastic at spurs is the type person who only identifies as a spurs fan when we are doing well.

A "tourist" (for me) is a non spurs fan who buys tickets for "big games" via our "partners" like Thomas Cook.

Not going to games doesn't make you a lesser fan and people like the Asian family you describe are every bit as much as a supporter as me.

On paper he seems the ideal go between for Levy and Mourinho

Who wants to tell Steve Hitchen that he's been sacked?

I think we just need someone to create a better roadmap for the squad.
We're too reactive and the planning for future seasons seems to have gone out the window.

Right on cue as we called it and ****ing predictable like his football

“I put pressure on myself every day,” he said. “I don’t need others to put pressure on me. I put pressure on myself every day. Every day.

“So since 2012 without three defeats in a row? But since when without a title?

After the reporter said 1961, the last time Spurs won the First Division, Mourinho responded: “Maybe I can give one.”

    Mourinho out.

Sissoko - he hides from the ball, is poor technically, has zero vision, he can`t shoot, he can`t pass more than 10 yards, is afraid to pass forward and he ruins our attacking impetus every time he is involved.

His only skill set is being an athlete that is able to get around the pitch to cover defensively, as a CM he is completely out of his depth and not what we need, ever.

It is anybody`s guess why Mourinho can not see the negative impact Sissoko has on the teams ability to play football, and why he continues to pick him. If Sissoko is still with us beyond the summer then lord help us, he should be one of the first names we look to improve upon at the end of the season.

He isn`t good enough for the shirt, end of.

I am the greatest Spurs supporter that will ever exist in this universe. < FACT >

That aside, turning up to games, home and/or away, as best you can,
when the team is better/worse, is the measure of a true supporter.

In 1987 when I was at Uni, I was in banter with a Goon during
the League Cup SF NLD. He asked if Spurs won was I going to
get tickets for Wembley. I said no.

When he asked why not, I told him that I am not a true supporter,
and I am not going to deny one the chance to be at Wembley
    merely because I can.

I still hold to that tenet now (more so given the financial cost of
attendance and the ever-widening gap to the man in the street
that I do not suffer from) .

I can remember missing the 1961 Cup Final because I refused to pay over the odds for a ticket.I had lined up and got a couple of ballot cards and was also given a couple from friends who didn't want to go.....and I still couldn't get one. Ticked me off a lot after spending so much money watching through out the season.
Only got to see the 1962 Cup Final because I was working at a greyhound track (Hackney Wick) because all London tracks were given a couple and they knew I was a Spurs nut!

Apologies for dredging up this thread, but here's the pass map

please log in to view this image

Well there's a novel idea: play a 4222 formation with two wingers up top and a striker behind them

While nobody passes to the RWB

While Ndombele, Sissoko and Hojbjerg pass it around in a triangle in midfield

And our right flank reverts to being the Bermuda Triangle

While Lloris receives more passes than Vinicius
