But the average age of this team - Gazza, Foyth, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Sessegnon, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Dele, Son and Kane is 24 years 292 days

It’s been discussed on here before hasn’t it.
The older legs can’t press like they used to. Poch has to adapt his tactics or bring in fitter younger players.

Must win game today, if Harry is absent as has been reported, then I am more fascinated than ever in Pochs team selection. Hope that Aurier and Eriksen have also been left at home, but have a feeling both will start. Choice of captain interesting too - its not important, but may give us a clue as to who Poch really trusts!

My team Gazza, Foyth, Sanchez, Toby, Davies, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Dele, Son (capt), Lucas

Expect Poch to pick Gazza, Aurier, Sanchez, Toby (capt), Davies, Sissoko, Winks, Ndombele, Eriksen, Dele and Son

The annoying thing is that, with Harry Kane being out with a dose of lasagna, no matter what the result there will be a Narrative for it

If we lose: we're too reliant on Harry Kane
If we draw: endlessly poring over missed chances that Harry Kane would have scored
If we win: we play so much better without Harry Kane

Though countered by leaving Foyth and Gio on the bench. Keeping faith in the same players who aren't delivering... Really hope it finally pays off for the guy, starting with today.

  12. The narrative I'm running with is that we'll stand more chance of winning ,as the team will work together instead of trying to get everything to Kane.

Gylfi, Coleman and Keane all on the bench for Everton. Honestly if we don't get a win today we may as well give up. Leicester are set to win 2-0, that puts them 10 points ahead of us before our game.

They will stick Walcott or Richarlison on Aurier in order to get a constant supply of free kicks into the box.
That, along with us being a man short in the midfield means we are DOOOOOOOOMMMMMMED

That Everton side really looks like a team that can be got at - But they will be thinking the same - Guarantee that either Walnut or Iwobi will score today (probably both)
