So the ref knew he got it wrong and the Premier League still backed his decision, before the panel overturned it? What a joke.
The Premier league said VAR was not involved in the decision, nor was VAR put in on the board at Goodison Park and tv said thst VAR was not involved. I certainly ain't defending VAR but I honestly thinkthe ref bollocksed up big time.
I hope that Sonny has learned a lesson from this - He has been sent off twice in about 15 matches now (admittedly this one was incorrect and rightly overturned) but on both occasions he has reacted badly to not a getting decision where he took a whack in the face, he needs to channel that frustration into scoring goals to make them pay and not into stupid retaliation.
Eh?? Is he watching a different Eriksen to everybody else? https://www.football.london/tottenh...pochettino-defends-christian-eriksen-17206855
You'd also have to question the decisions that he didn't get, to be fair. Lerma hit him and then stepped on his foot while the ball was out of play, while Gomes accidentally whacked him in the mush. He does need to quit taking it personally though, as he's going to get this sort of treatment, like Alli used to.
Had a browse of a couple of Everton forums to see what their reaction to the red card retraction was. Quite a large number of them seem to be under the impression that we're the darlings of the FA and Premier League. Odd.
