Not sure what more he could’ve done tbh. Defended well enough, should’ve had an assist and was involved in the third goal.

Winks was probably at his level tonight so didn’t look too out of place . Austrian league is where he’d probably do alright. Still gave away two stupid free kicks in the first half though but did look better in the second. Hopefully won’t be in the squad on Monday now that Gio is back though. Fingers crossed!

Lets hope they do emulate them Spurf, some great players there and winners too! I remember that final as very exciting. It was Steve Archibalds last game too although we didn't know officially but the way he waved all around, lingering, we sort of guessed.

Watching the Bale interview tonight and the highlights GB did plenty to show us that he is going to be a star for us again and he looks like he is enjoying his time back at the lane

Yeah I looked that up too. I was surprised Alan only had 19 caps for England I would have guessed around 30. He had 4 playing brothers though.
