Poch put him in as he was a young player with promise. Sadly for a team aiming for where we want to be he’s never reached that level though. Can’t fault his effort and unlike some he actually seems to care. He plays now because it’s another position we have no real depth. Hopefully next year skipp comes in and does what winks has failed to do.

He barely plays in the league now to be fair. Though we’re so **** at the moment he’d actually not look out of place for a change.

Happens with da yoof. Brewster for us was gassed up so much we sold him to someone for 20m plus add ons. <laugh>

You need to not play him and start a media campaign about how good he is then sell him to West ham for 30m.

I think Naby Anderton would be a good replacement. could probably buy him from us for around 40m this summer too.

I said at the time that I thought it was a goal - If we had a goal chalked off for that particularly against you the outcry here would have been huge.

However the singling out of Son by your manager in his after match comments is quite frankly ludicrous when your own players are doing much the same so frequently, lets be honest its a surprise that Bruno wasn't nominated for a BAFTA on Sunday night for his performances over the entire season. I mean its not just the ease with which he goes down there's the mock outrage every time he doesn't get a decision chipping away at the ref constantly.

Also did anyone notice (hear) Shaw scream towards the end of the game when Auriers late challenge caught him, if a player screams like that and gets up within 10 seconds (as he did) then that is shocking gamesmanship, again I know he is not the first but I do worry that its players and not refs who are the problem.

I said last week that there are too many 'soft' fouls awarded in matches these days and whilst I believe that refs have to be stronger, to try and stop acting, all the time that the actors are rewarded it will carry on it's a vicious circle and will eventually kill the game as a spectacle if it hasn't already

He really shouldn't try to make this personal with Mourinho, given some of his previous responses to similar spats.
He ****ing brutalised Wenger, Benitez and Conte.

If he doesn't leave Solskjaer looking like Captain Rhodes, it's clear that he needs to go

So he's going to Merseyside on Friday and then spending the weekend at @Sucky 's?
Is that so he can tell him where it is or something?

The more pressing question is why Solskjaer, the United players, the media and every pundit in the country would want to take focus away from the fact that they won.

The answer is a page taken directly out of Ferguson's bestseller "How to win referees and influence decisions".

Ignore the real story (United came back from behind to deservedly win away from home), blow up the secondary story beyond all proportion, and thereby decrease the likelihood of similar decisions going against you in the future.

Solskjaer may be Andy Serkis' stunt double, but he learned from the best.

And why he's roped his 20-year-old son into talking about how his father gives him food, despite being a pro-player in Norway.
    A **** one, admittedly.

The officials obviously took the view that what he did was a foul.
But it's soft. He did no more than brush off a player who was trying to impede him and made little contact with Son.
It's a contact sport - players come into contact in many situations. Increasingly, contact is being seen as a foul. Hence the increase in simulation.

Was Fernandes fouled for your penalty last Thursday?

I'm sure Solskjaer will be slagging him off any minute now...

Your point is correct in general but I think contact with the face should always be a foul. And pretending to be hit in the face should be a red card and a ten match ban.

If he can't play the violin he can at least try and do a Levy by moving the deck chairs around a bit
