Nearly £100m they’ve cost us. Wouldn’t pay a bag of chips for either at the moment. Unbelievably **** when on the pitch together.

Eriksen and Dembele to these two, probably two of the biggest downgrades imaginable.

Southampton could be 3 or 4 up ...yet they have only got 10 points in 2021

Ndombele and Lo Celso are so **** I don’t think I’d go mental if we brought Sissoko and Winks on for them.

 

Ndombele booked for a stupid, lazy kick on Adams. Could be one of a long list that we could take off at the break.

 

Gio really ain’t having a great game, not that anyone is for us.

I see the point of playing a fluid, mobile group of forwards when your lead striker is out if your intention is to press as a unit. But we’re not. Don’t get me wrong these things take time to coach and 2 days isn’t going to make it happen but in the absence of that option I really don’t get why we aren’t seeing Vinny.

 

How did we fail to put that in? Awful finishing and anticipation.

 

I do actually feel really sorry for Mason. We’ve asked a rookie to try and make a tune out of a bunch of **** currently without the player that carries them all.

 

Why is every team we play first to every single ball? Might not be having a great game but you can at least show a bit of fight.

 

Unreal ball from Bale, you’d hope Son and Moura would do better in the box there though.

Lots to do at half time and I wouldn’t mind seeing Vinny on for Gio at the break. Mason has his work cut out.

Take at least one of Lo Celso or Ndombele off, get Vinicius on and start getting on the ball.
Too many players off the pace and the formation and system aren't working, either.

 

Terrible half - feel for sorry for Mason because the effort has been appalling could make all 3 subs at HT and replace anyone except Hugo and we wouldn't be surprised, Son Lo Celso and Ndombele need a huge kick up the arse more than the rest.

 

Just realised we are playing, what's the Kane story? Out for the weekend?
