    Saturday 6th August 3pm
    Premier League
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

No official injury news yet, but it appears that Skipp and Bissouma will miss out through injury.
Richarlison is suspended because the authorities are stupid.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Royal, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.
Subs: Gollini, Rodon, Craig, White, Winks, Devine, Bergwijn, Moura, Scarlett.

Saints: McCarthy; Walker-Peters, Stephens, Lyanco, Salisu; S. Armstrong, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Elyounoussi; Redmond, A. Armstrong.
Subs: Caballero, Valery, Bednarek, Diallo, Smallbone, Djenepo, Adams, Long.

Ref: Andre Marriner. VAR: Paul ****ing Tierney. His assistant is Natalie Aspinall. New woman official.

    TV: Not televised.

How would you like to line up for this one?

Still able to field a strong side despite injuries/ suspensions. I’d personally go with:

    Hugo
    Romero, Dier, Lenglet*
    Spence**, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Perisic
    Kulu, Kane, Son

*or Davies if fit, just as long as it ain’t Sanchez
    **it’ll be Doherty

Up to the Forest game I would go with the strongest
available starting XIs from last season, purely to get the
    points in the bag.

If that goes well, I would have Richarlison in the starting XI
for the Forest game, along with a number of the other new
    signings.

It wouldn't surprise me if Lenglet starts over Davies at the weekend

Good to have a little competition for starting spots early

Sounds like there’s a chance Bissouma could be in the squad, being assessed as to whether he’ll be cleared, his issue isn’t anything serious but Conte doesn’t wanna take risks.

Be good if he makes it.

Is there a way Sarr could be included in the match day squad and sent out on loan later in the window? Would that mean wasting a squad space on him until January?

I believe the squad can be changed up to the submission the day after the window closes, so yes he can play without a space.

I've not got the feeling for this season, feeling a bit flat considering how close we are to the season start ,very happy with the transfer business so far but I need the spark to get me going with a stunning signing to match Kane and Son , the other reason could be the strange occasion of a Sat 3pm ko which I'm not used to

He’s been on our local ITV news programme on Granada today promoting the safeguarding course he has developed for child abuse.
    Top man.

I’d rather see Sarr come off the bench than Winks, Ndombele or Lo Celso.

What SD says is essentially true albeit it wouldn't technically apply to Sarr as he doesn't take up a squad place in the Prem as he's 19, U21s don't need to be registered.

    Agreed.

Unless we're 5-0 up with a minute to go, in which case Winks can come on to wave goodbye to the fans.

Bissouma and Davies back in training

I'd still give Lenglet the nod at LCB

Likely Lenglet starts and Biss on the bench, I imagine we don’t want to rush him and aggravate any injury.
