Looking at yesterdays sprint again Demare should have had the win taken away from him but he's French
Great finish by Aru to win the stage, went for it with a little over 2K to go and kept it going. Good to see most of the favourites up there, Dan Martin takes 2nd just ahead of Froome who now take Yellow off "G", with Richey Porte in 4th..
I have something in common with Fabian Aru, when I've ridden up what to me is a bast*** of a hill my facial expressions look like his.... On le Tour highlights, what a bloody ridiculous advert for Watchfinder or something, I don't know anyone who rides with a grand father clock on their wrist...
Well I know what you mean, I just came in from a 2 hour ride, and I am sure my facial expression will be pretty much the same. Does seem strange, but I guess they have to make the watch big so you can easily see it. Good to see Simon Yates performing well again at the tour.
It was a great night for a ride... I see the major road works that have been promised on my out loop start on the 17th, thats North Cave down to the A1079. 5 months of work ... badly needed the road is past its sell by..
It's a lovely bit of road now on the Market Weighton bye pass, Giant Bradley way, makes all the difference having a nice smooth tarmac road under your wheels. Most weekends I come down the North cliff/South cliff road and then down to S. Cave.
Thats where the major works are JEX... I go the opposite way and then into MW and up to Bempton and then back down to Sutton on D and back to South Cave..
"Please know that it's sport and I have a family," Cavendish said on Twitter. "Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But vile and threatening comments on social media to myself and my family aren't deserved."
