He's a steal for less than £4m imo. I've read somewhere he had 2,5 years running on his contract, but now got my first impression confirmed that he only have 6 months left on it.
Am reading the Zamora deal is not yet done. He wants 90k a week or no deal. Total cost could be up to £7,000,000. For that money we could, and can still do, far better.
i don't think we would pay that much but i read he is on £45K a week at Fulham so i would imagine a bit more. i think he just wants out of Fulham.
31/01/2012 by David McIntyre Bobby Zamora has agreed in principle to join QPR from Fulham and is set to undergo a medical at Loftus Road. The England international, 31, played under Rangersâ former Whites boss Mark Hughes at Craven Cottage. But QPR have long been planning a pre-deadline move for Zamora, whose current contract expires in 2014. Initial enquiries were made about him while Neil Warnock was still Râs manager and the club have been monitoring his situation for some time. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/zamora-poised-to-complete-move-to-w12/? Here it's says 2,5 years left on his contract?? Very confused Can someone shed some light on this? If it's correct then under £4mill is a real bargain.
JimFrayling Jim Frayling @davidmcintyre76 WLS has Zamora out of contract at end of season. BBC says 2014 but only £4m fee. Which is it? £4m suggests you're right in reply to ↑ @davidmcintyre76 David McIntyre @JimFrayling it's 2014. Hadnt actually seen it as was added 4 me after a bit of breakdown in comm. so thanks! its johnson whose deal expires This should clarify things.
Another target on the move: Lucho Gonzalez is about to complete a move from Marseille to Porto for about £1.6 million, having been signed in 2009 for £15 million. A steal if that fee is correct, but if his wages who are believed to be £170k a week are correct then that might explan the low fee.

No to Zamora please - he's obviously only in it for the money if he wants his wages doubled! IMO he is Betty, Hulse and Brett Angel all rolled into one.
Just saw on the tele that Bradley Orr is saying his sale (or loan) to Blackburn is far from confirmed! Are we still trying a part exchange for Samba! Or personal terms aren't agreed perhaps?
