    Really?

If they weren't already in some slightly murky water with the Kamara 16 million then loan back, then this is the nail that could go right into the investigation coffin!

What ever happened to him and Kalu anyways? They've just dropped off the first team radar completley.

We would not want any of them back on loan anyways including Kamara so does not matter what Daddy Pozzo pays us to take them off our hands

As for any investigation Forrest paid us £20m for Dennis and offered him back to us on loan

It is the prices that are questionable with Kamara and Kayembe at best. Really, they are inflatedly bigly massively off.

Yes that is the key thing .

If it was Sarr no one would bat an eye lid or the fees much smaller .

You could argue that all transfer fees are as high as whatever other clubs are prepared to pay. For example, look at Nathan Ellington - we were prepared to pay £4.25million for him when he quite clearly wasn't even worth £4.25.

These days more than ever football is just a business, and player trading is simply part of that business - as the Pozzos have discovered, it can be a rather lucrative part of the business too.

On the face of it, the £16million fee for Kamara does sound excessive, but maybe not so much when you consider the £150million value that some pundits are claiming for Haaland.

I roundly disagree..... we should have been paid £4.25 million to take him ;)

Actually he was such a liability.... I wouldnt have him for £42.5 million.........................

Kalu? Think he has been pensioned off!
Tbh, if fit he is likely to be with us next year.

I'm hoping Manga makes a big difference to our transfer business :emoticon-0165-muscl <whistle>

And when he got injured he limped off - and the act of limping injured him further.

Won't be missed, I thought he had potential at first but he just covers ground without any impact

He looked totally lost against Stoke - made no impact on the game at all.

Doesn’t sound like your typical Pozzo signing but maybe a change in tact as to who we look to get in .

GT used to use the lower leagues well .

His career record with Ipswich isn't the best though - short term none too successful loans to clubs lower down the ladder - bar Leyton Orient - although he was young. We may need a new Head Coach capable of nurturing him in order to improve him - and I'd like to think that we could get a Head Coach who would actually be allowed to say yes or no to signing him. The strategy of "here you are, here's your squad" hasn't really been too successful.

He was very disinterested recently. I agree he had potential, but I became disappointed in him.

Seems to have been dragged into the vortex of the general on-field malaise, sadly.

A change is as good as a rest they say - maybe a change and a rest will do the trick.
