Whatever anyone’s thoughts on the ongoing of SD and his “words” I believe it’s time as said in previous posts that we have to get behind the team and the manager. I also believe that we have a few posters on here and across the road that do have some info on the club so with that have we got any rumours of any incomings or outgoings from them. I myself know nowt so I rely on such people who are brave enough to post things, so c’mon lads let’s have some and cheers in advance

FFP loan supposedly being paid back and Donald trying to offload us.Am afraid it will be free transfers and loans of players not wanted at their current clubs. They will probably be of equal or lesser quality than our current players.

If this happens SD won't just get nasty open letters, he will be vilified at a level he wouldn't have thought possible.
It would look very much as though he'd used the fans letter as an excuse, which I think is what he's doing anyway.

Hope he's better than the last one Leeds offloaded onto us, surely he can't be as bad.

was De Bock so bad, I rated him better than Lynch tbh but thats not saying much, we need a defender or two to help help support Willis, O/9 and Hume to reach their full potential.

Well tbf when we have spent real money ( wyke and grigg ) we have utterly wasted it.
When in the premier our best transfer business were loans ( Evans, rose, Alonso, borini before we bought him, young striker from united who later went to arsenal ).
Sadly every one of our loans in this god forsaken ( no doubt I will get warned for using such an expression ) has been a dud.
It's a difficult call for all parties.
As we have done for years we could do with 2 decent full backs.
The talent is there is in the squad. Most other managers in this league concede we have the best. I Dont see the point in spending money on players that wont be good enough to cut it in the c'ship.
Loans and short term contracts to get us over the line in my opinion

Liverpool have some good young defenders in their squad, worth a try. Midfield get our own up to speed maybe a marquee signing if we can afford one. Sounds like McNulty is being lined up for a move to Swindon Town acccording to the Echo.

As we have been linked with the possible capture of former SAFC keeper Ben Alnwick, has anyone thought about the possibility of big Jon leaving us in this January window?

It's worrying that he has not been offered a new contract despite him saying he wants to stay

But Ben Alnwick is a backward step

I know he has been training with us . I hope this was to keep his fitness up, but not for us

"we are ahead of the game for this window, scouting done, targets identified"

Not to worry, it's only the 6th of January.

Was another Donald one, not word for word but not far off. I think Parkinson said similar, only to say it could be difficult a few days later.

Like a fcking soap opera at the minute.

Apparently Alnwick is a mate of Parkinson's and there's nothing in this.
    I hope so.
