Nothing at all mate. I personally believe we've had by far the best window in League One. Some, like Peterborough and Oxford, have gone backwards.
Be good to rest tired legs but able to bring quality on if needed. Covered in all areas now methinks.
I agree mate. Both have lost very influential players. We can be very pleased with who we've brought in. Ipswich and Pompey don't seem to have strengthened. Rotherham have bolstered their squad today mind, so they could be the ones to beat.
He might well do mate. Personally, I would stick with the lads who've got us on this good run, as to not de-motivate them. If anyone's not performing, they know they're for the hook now. Would definitely give the 3 new lads a good run out mind.
Here's to a good transfer window, none of us have a crystal ball, and I wouldn't recommend admitting it if you did, but it looks to me like we've done good business. Well thought out signings and no panicky ****e. Cheers lads
I already know Parky isn’t one for tinkering with anything if it’s not broke. Just a gut feeling I’ve got. Hopefully we do get to see some players for at least 20 minutes or so to get a good look at them. We’ll probably need to be 4 up for the gaffer to make subs though.
Greg Docherty on loan at Hibs in the end, he seems a good player but I imagine that Scowen was our primary target for that position.
Totally agree for once we have bought or loaned players that most SAFC supporters realise we needed to be either replacements or backup for our present side, I think this is one of the more sensible transfer windows for many years . I would suggest this is due to Phil Parkinson having a very good and in depth knowledge of the English leagues as compared to Jack Ross , as well as a special mention to the owner Stewart Donald who despite having the club up for sale has given the Manager an excellent level of support .
That's it for me, I'll support 100% what we have ... ... Haway Lads, let's get into them and show this league we mean business. Let's get behind our club with everything we have.
Tactical masterclass from Ed Woodward. Signing a striker from China knowing defenders will actively avoid him.
bailey has, imho, already proven himself...a decent little debut, nothing flash just 'steady away' and did his job without fuss, if the rest are as easy to settle into the team we could be enjoying games again.
Nothing but a gut feel but on the whole I'm happy with our business. Bit of fun: Best signing: Josh Scowen Worst Signing: Declan John (will be a back up to Hume)
