I think that’s a smashing piece of business to round out a transfer window that you have to give Levy and co. close to full marks for. Strengthened every position we needed to with real quality. Plus the additional surprise of Bale. Outstanding work.

In other news there’s reports that Luis Campos has asked to be released from his contract at Lille. He’s been someone who’s been spoken about as potentially being a figure we’d like to have on the books.

Might just be Duncan Castles reporting it for now though so not sure how reliable.

It needs to be maintained, though.
The squad's still in need of some surgery in the next couple of windows and we need to keep a strong eye on the future.
We've got a lot of players now and Mourinho's got a job on his hands to keep them all sharp and firing.

    Definitely. Plenty of games though.

I think that assuming all the lads settle, it'll be looking at long-term solutions for RB and GK, as well as keeping an eye on the LB situation in case Regulion ends up going back to Madrid. CB options may still need some surgery as well.

I think that all being well the next couple of windows will be more about who we move on than who comes in.

Wrapped up a great transfer window by being able to bring my avatar back too. @BobbyD 15th July > 16th October, so I actually carried it for three months and a day seeing as I'm such a good sport. May have actually done its own RCL'ing too, "Dickhead. ENIC Out" and yet they've pulled off a great window for the club, may look at bringing it back in January <laugh>.

There's something odd about r/coys picking David Ornstein over the club's own twitter to announce the Rodon signing

Any chance Austin and Whiteman could follow suit?

Shame he didn't give the same level of backing to the manager who got you where you were really.
Still, it's good that he has learnt something.

Can’t fault the man...makes me happy that he hasn’t screwed over a world class manager like United did.

Anyway...you know me...might be back to normal by January <laugh>

You forget Poch so easily, the man that got you in the CL 4 years on the trot and got you to a final. Screwed by Levy because he didn't want to spend on the next phase <laugh>

Mate the season we sacked Poch he’d just been backed with £120m worth of transfers <laugh>.

If you actually delve deeper though and don’t listen to the anti-Levy media, it was Poch - not Levy - who was to blame for not strengthening at times. I don’t wanna dig Poch out too badly though but if you look into what happened in 18/19 and then read some of the stuff Ally Gold has recently written (who’s basically Spurs’ own version of Fabrizio Romano) you’ll notice the difference between Poch and Jose when it’s come to working with Levy/ Hitchen on the transfers side of things.
