£100m and Kane for Greenwood, you can forget that. Greenwood is mobile and has years ahead of him, Kane needs the whole team to set him up. Seriously, i would be gutted if we chased Kane and more so if we paid more than £70m for him. I have said many many times on here that the man is clinical and great for you. The thing is i just don't think he would fit us.
That's why the £70m, he would be worth much more to other clubs but i think he would be "another option" for us in that we could change things around. For what it's worth i don't think he would fit in at Chelsea or City either (though City would be closest fit). This is not calling Harry, his stats are phenomenal but i do think he is in the perfect place for him. Some call you the Harry Kane team and in a way it's true, your team is built around him and most of the time he is expected to do the scoring whilst giving the occasional assist (occasional is probably a poor choice of wording) whereas in other teams the threat comes from many places.
Tbh, the only reason City, United, Chelsea or Liverpool sign him is to weaken us further (not that we are a threat to anyone) or as a vanity signing. They are all strong up front. Barca or Madrid could well come in for him but can't see them having the money. That only leaves PSG tbh.
I forgot Liverpool You are right though, he wouldn't fit their play either. Barca is a no no but he would suit Madrid very well in the Benzema/Higuian mould.
Only mentioned Barca as both they are in desperate need to "replace" Messi. Think he'd be mad to go anywhere near either of those side tbh. Can see Chelsea, United (to try and appease the fans) and PSG bidding for him. Just hope it don't drag on all bloody window!
Never sure when the best time to sell a big player is. sell them at the beginning of window and you get time to look around, sell them at the end and the best players have gone. Either way other clubs know you have money and are desperate for a replacement so the prices shoot up.
Well Chelsea won’t get him unless they pay something outrageous about £180 mill minimum I reckon Even Levy was willing to sell Modric for less to another team, than what Chelsea were offering for him.
Wouldn’t make much sense for Kane to join Utd anyway. They’d still finish below City and possibly Chelsea the way Tuchel is going about things, they’d also still have no chance of winning the CL. So if not City I think he’ll go abroad somewhere to one of the big dons.
No he wasn't, since the Chavs offered an insultingly lowball offer for him - or, to put it another way, considerably less than what Los Ladrones offered the following year
Matt Doherty's been linked with a move too So we'd better sign Max Aarons, otherwise we're going to have to buy Foyth back off Villarreal and hope Dermi Lusala lives up to his FM rating...
You don't watch much football, do you? The man has the most goals and the most assists in the league.
There's a £15m clause to make his loan permanent, and it's been widely reported that they'll take up that option at the end of the season
Andersen Watch: 2021 Edition The Torygraph claim that we are in pole position to sign Joachim Andersen, with a fee of £20m being bandied about
