Wells, Cameron and Hemed have all returned to their parent clubs so realistically, we are 8 players lighter.

To be honest, only sorry to see Pawel go. The rest are ****e anyway. The loans were ok at best but if we want to improve then we should be looking at some promising youngsters to loan like derby did with Wilson and Mount. Leeds did with Harrison. All comes back to money and wages I suppose

Bit of a surprise. Cousins, lynch and Baptiste won't be missed much. Bidwell was much maligned but I would have kept him, he's solid enough. My guess is Pav was too expensive to keep on, it's a shame as he was a total work horse and chipped in enough, I'll miss his bizarre technique. Boy we have an interesting summer ahead.

Very sad to see Pawel go....but his is the only position we definitely have good cover with BOS, Shodipo,Smyth ( and Wheeler ..he's still ours).. although neither has Pawels defensive capabilities.

Rangel has been offered a new short term contract,, he wants to get his coaching badges and is looked on as a very good egg..pretty sure he must be quite cheap..
Interesting Hall has not been mentioned, he is out of contact, we must be in negotiations...but he is so injury prone.

We are very short of defenders...top heavy with goal keepers...and devoid of out and out strikers.. but we have a Matty (8-9 goals a season) Smith, but not sure what category he is

Exactly what I was going to say.
Only Pawel I'll miss, but I think his wages may have been prohibitive.
The rest were pretty awful imo.

Too true. I'm sure most will get decent contracts elsewhere. I'm intrigued as to what Warbuton thinks of Smith and how he would fit into his supposed attacking entertaining football. I seriously think it's a waste of an outfield player, yes granted he can score but I think hes detrimental to any type of passing/movement style that we are begging, longing for, crying out to see!!

in last 12 months, our final finishing position hasn't really changed so maybe it is time to clear a few out and freshen up the squad with a new players.

I think that we should keep Smith as a plan B...

If he was mobile, I would agree but hes just a sloth. I've seen paint run faster than him. All he does is encourage a team to play long, direct and hopeful. If he plays we should start 4 up front and two in midfield as we totally bypass them enroute to him.

Plenty asking about the future of Grant Hall.

The club have confirmed that a one-year extension was triggered in his contract meaning he will stay at Loftus Road until the summer of 2020.

    #QPR

    Hall seems to have resigned.
    We have 3.5 CDs then

    Furs,BFG, Hall and Rangel.

Ex Arsenal coach ( under Wenger ) Neil Banfield has been appointed first team coach. John Eustace will remain as Warburton's assistant manager.

A step in the right direction all though they look like a pair of predators in that pic!!
He guest coached on a course/seminar I did years ago. Think the Gallens may have been on it too.

None of those being released will be missed that much as individuals, but cumulatively it leaves a big hole in the squad. Let's hope Warburton has some high-class, low-cost replacements in mind

But... strikers who score goals surely are worth keeping?

In my opinion, if it's to the detriment of how you want to play then no they aren't worth keeping. I would keep him if we were in the conference at a push but we should be looking at pacey, technical players of this level not big lumps whose only attribute is to head a ball. You need midfielders and wingers who can put it on a six pence cos the lump wont get the ball if it's not in a 1 metre radius of him!!!

That foreign striker at Norwich...not Pukki, the other one. Big lad but technically sound and very mobile.

    I don't think that's him. I think we've signed Christopher Biggins.
