Apparently we've signed Adam Drury on a short term deal a Winger/ Full Back https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Drury_(footballer,_born_1993)
CJS if you google the Bristol evening post sports news you will find a report about Lee Nicholls there
I seen the tweets about it from various sources but as the club didnt come out yesterday, I was thinking it must have fell through! But its now official from the club...
Adam Dawson has already left Kidderminster and joined Tranmere on loan! Also I just has a quick look at the National League table 10 games in to see how Grimsby, Tranmere and Cheltenham are getting on. I was very surprised to see FGR so far ahead. FGR won their 1st 9 games in a row getting 27 points from a 27 available. Fantastic achievement. But they lost their recent game vs Woking. Tranmere and Grimsby are just outside the play offs, Cheltenham are 3rd just behind Gateshead who are in 2nd despite losing 4-1 vs Tranmere, 3-0 vs newly promoted Bromley and just securing a point against bottom side Kiddy. Wrexham are doing well in the play offs. Think if we had stayed down, it would have been very tough!
I was disappointed re AD. I would have liked to see his skills tried out in a creative midfield role. But clearly DC didn't want him in the squad. Why, we will probably never know.
Find it very strange that the bottom side Kiddy should loan out Adam Dawson, is there something wrong with his attitude because he played quite well for us and even came to Wembley for the final and was then overlooked by us when he became available on a free
He's played in nearly all their games either a financial move or as Old Timer has suggested maybe his attitude is all wrong
He uses twitter a lot. If you open up his twitter page here https://twitter.com/AdamRyanDawson/with_replies you will see his main picture is still the gas!!
I am wondering if we are being kidded when we are being told that we were looking to sign a striker in the loan window, there is never a mention of possible/probable targets and we are not exactly shinning brightly in front of goal this season. This top seven finish with the aim of 25 wins is looking dimmer every week without a striker to put the ball in the net
If the club is being bought by another party/parties as mentioned on a different thread do you think this is why the 2/3 players we were hoping for before the transfer window closed didn't arrive. If the new owners? are going to invest in the playing staff then maybe DC is waiting/ being told to wait until new money is in place
Bearing on mind what a good signing Clarke has been, I wonder whether Woking had any more players worth considering? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34659353
